Welcome to our city!
We are a friendly community of approximately 70,000 people. We are centrally located in the province of British Columbia and only a short flight to Vancouver or Calgary. Prince George is located on the traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh.
We have urban conveniences, but we don’t have Vancouver’s traffic problems and house prices here are a fraction of the cost of homes in the Lower Mainland.
We love the outdoors. We have four seasons and 2,000 hours of sunshine per year. That’s plenty of time to explore the hundreds of lakes within an hour’s drive of Prince George.
We’re located at the confluence of two rivers; the Fraser and the Nechako. Their eroding banks, known as “cutbanks”, are an iconic part of the Prince George landscape. We know how to have fun in the winter.
We have great hills for skiers and snowboarders, fantastic cross-country ski trails at the Otway Nordic Ski Centre, skating rinks and a WHL hockey team (the Prince George Cougars). We are the host city of the 2015 Canada Winter Games.
Whether you are relocating here or simply moving to a different part of the city, we would love to assist you with your real estate needs.
If you are interested in investing here, we have a dedicated commercial office and our commercial Realtors® would be delighted to discuss the many opportunities our city has to offer.
