Price it right
Pricing is very important if you want your property to get attention. Most buyers have done a lot of browsing and have a sense of what the market value is for different types of properties. Price too high, and you’ll put people off. As Rick says,
“Pricing your home too high will cause your home to be on the market longer than it should be. You could even get less for your home when it sells because after it’s been sitting on the market for a while, shoppers will wonder what’s wrong with it.”
Market Your Home to the Right People
“Your best tool for marketing your home is your Realtor® because they know the trends of today, are tuned in to the market and will find you a qualified buyer,” Rick says.
Ask your Realtor® which tools they will be using to attract buyers. They may advertise your property in the real estate section of a local newspaper or online. They may also recommend using professional photography or other tools to make your home stand out.
Realtors® will also use their networks of other Realtors® and clients to spread the word about your property.
Open houses and showings are very useful for getting the attention of prospective buyers. Getting their attention means making your home feel like a great space to be in.
